ingredients

  • 15 ounce can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 large cloves fresh garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin or coriander (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Notes

So many variation possibilities. Try adding:


  • 1/4 cup roasted peppers
  • 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup favorite olives
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, parsley, dill, or basil
  • 1 small roasted beet
  • 1 head roasted garlic
